Leading law firm Hewitsons has again achieved strong results in the Legal 500 guides, as the law firm continues to show its force in key practice areas across East Anglia, the East Midlands and the South East.
The annual publication ranks UK law firms and solicitors based on the results of extensive research, including client feedback interviews.
The 2021 guide, published on 1st October, names the business, which has its head office in Cambridge, as a ‘top-tier firm’ in a total of eight practice areas and recommended in a further 17 practice areas.
Top tier practices include, amongst various regions: agriculture and estates, personal tax, trusts and probate, corporate and commercial, commercial litigation, charities and not-for-profit and commercial property. The firm also performed well in many other practice areas. In addition, 17 solicitors at the firm have been recognised as ‘leading Individuals’ within their respective specialisms, many having retained this elite status for several years running. Seven lawyers have been named as ‘rising stars’ and two partners named as ‘next generation lawyers’.
